There Is Poetry In Nature Art Book — Self-Published Art and Poetry Book

This art/poetry book, titled “There Is Poetry in Nature,” features original paintings from my studio and poems from my own pen. Printed on high-quality gloss paper, the 44-page gift book pairs 22 images of art and 22 poems in a professionally designed format. The book dimensions are 9” x 7” with a matte-finish cover, soft bound.

Artwork is abstract and impressionist landscapes and figures, and poems focus on nature and childhood impressions—the title poem reads:

There is poetry in nature as clear
as sonnets blooming in the garden
where the fig and lemon trees bear fruit,
as limericks bobbing in the branches
where hatchlings summon their mothers,
as elegies humming under leaf beds
while life dies out with the seasons.
The mountains call down about epics
of the earth’s age,
while the moon glows an ode to the sun
that lights its barren surface on fire,
and the ocean strums ballads
in waves against the cliff face.
There is poetry in nature as clear
as the rhymes and rhythms of our own days
and as humble or majestic as we take
to reciting them.
