This one-of-a-kind wall hanging is pieced together with mixed-media paintings that form one collection. Strung from a 6" metal rod, each piece is stitched with waxed thread, and the piece is adorned with found objects—vintage beads, hand-painting fabric, and leather scraps. Add a colorful splash of art to small space.

Size: 6" x 24"—the painting itself is 18". The leather strap on the metal rod adds additional height.

Medium: Mixed media on paper

Details: Satin finish. The painting is framed in unfinished wood with a front face measuring .375". The frame is 1.5" deep and fitted with wire for hanging. Signed and dated.

MY ARTIST STATEMENT—painting is a daily exercise for me, as I continue to discover ways to express myself through art. As an assemblage artist, exploring this medium opens up a different portal, so to speak. Different textures, colors, shapes, and even sounds, emerge with each new piece. My goal is to create work that represents how I see the world around me, and at the same time, work that others can bring into their own surroundings and attach to it their own interpretation.
