Antique Photo Album with John Muir Quote, Reclaimed Book with Small Paintings, John Muir Quote, Nature Book in Antique Photo Album

This one-of-a-kind book is a tribute to nature with a quote from John Muir complemented by small original abstract paintings. Set within an antique photo album, the pages create frames for both the art and the text, and they are embellished with an assortment of found objects. You'll spy antique book spines, a blue jay and a crow feather, handmade paper, dried leaves and scraps of linen. There are also vintage beads and bits of an antique photo of the English countryside. The album is bound in leather with a metal clasp.

Closed, the book measures 5" high by 6.5" high. When open for display, it measures 10" wide. Note, this book is very delicate and should be handled with care.

The excerpted quote reads—"Keep close to Nature's heart and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean."
