Mixed Media Painted Art Block, Mini Landscape Painting Sculpture

Truly unique, this art block is textured with twine and loose-weave cheese cloth, blended with cold wax and oil paint to create a rough-hewn sculpture. Layers of color add to its weathered look. There are two blocks in this style available—very similar but not identical. Display it on a shelf or tabletop or in a curio cabinet with your other treasures.

Dust lightly with a soft cloth or duster, and keep away from small hands. The piece is meant to be enjoyed and only handled gingerly for long-term care.

MY ARTIST STATEMENT—Painting is a daily ritual for me, as I continue to discover ways to express myself through art. My goal is to create artwork that represents how I see the world around me—or how I hope it could be, a place where mercy, benevolence, and peace are commonplace and can be found around any corner, under any tree, or beside any stream.
