This original painting of a bouquet of flowers in a green vase, with a rustic treatment of the surface and history revealed in the layers, is all about bringing cheer into the room. Isn't that why we bring flowers into our homes, trim them, select the perfect vase to display them? They make us happy just looking at them.

Size: 11" x 14" (15" x 18" frame)

Medium: Cold wax and oil on archival paper

Details: The painting is framed in a one-of-a-kind custom-frame (built in my husband's woodshop). It is solid wood, painted with an antique mat paint and slightly distressed. It measure 15" x 18", is 1" deep and has a built-in "mat" with bevel. There is no glass in the frame, leaving the surface exposed, as a stand oil painting would be. Signed and dated.
